Founder
I’m Jared Keith, Founder and President of Ascend Services.
I started Ascend with a simple idea: homeowners and businesses shouldn’t have to wonder whether they’re getting the truth when they call an HVAC company.
Heating and air conditioning can get complicated quickly. When something quits working, most customers don’t want a sales pitch or a technical lecture—they want someone who can figure out what’s actually wrong, explain the options clearly, and help them make the right decision.
That’s the kind of company I wanted to build.
My background includes hands-on HVAC service, diagnostics, system replacement, ductwork, commercial HVAC, project management, estimating, and helping improve the operations behind an HVAC company—not just the equipment in front of me. That experience has shaped how Ascend operates.
Our Approach
We Diagnose Before We Sell
Not every problem requires a new system.
Sometimes the right answer is a repair. Sometimes airflow or ductwork is the real problem. Sometimes the equipment has simply reached the point where putting more money into it no longer makes sense.
Our job is to determine which situation you’re dealing with and give you enough information to make a confident decision.
When there are multiple reasonable solutions, we’ll explain them. When something doesn't need to be replaced, we'll tell you that too.

Ascend Services is locally owned and operated in Upstate South Carolina.
As a Marine Corps veteran, I learned early that accountability, preparation, and doing your job correctly matter. Those principles have stayed with me throughout my career and are a big part of the company I’m building today.
My goal for Ascend isn’t just to build another heating and air company. It’s to build a company known for technical competence, honest recommendations, strong communication, and work that customers feel comfortable recommending to their friends and family.
